Original Italy - this is a little Italian eatery at Martin place station food court. Itโs run by Mchelone chef famous for home catering chef. I have tried Lasagna which was tasty. The cook is from Sicily and two waitresses from Milano & Verona- all friendly & happy Italians. They also offer best Italian coffees to keep you awake for your busy day !
If heaven serves pasta, itโs probably called Al Dente. I had the fettuccine boscaiola and honestly, Iโm still emotionally recovering โ creamy, smoky, perfectly seasoned, and somehow both comforting and life-altering. You know that moment when you take a bite and your brain just says, โOhโฆ we live here nowโ? That was me. The staff are legends, and the pastaโฆ the pasta! It deserves its own national holiday. Iโll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu โ purely for scientific research purposes, of course.
As an Italian, I can honestly say that the lasagna and meatballs I had here are better than in most top restaurants back home in Italy. Five stars to the chef, everything was truly exceptional! From Robertoโs excellent service to Stefania, who made me one of the best cappuccinos Iโve ever had. The pasta is freshly made every day, and if you happen to arrive at the right time, youโll be welcomed by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked focaccia!
If youโre in Martin Place and craving real Italian pasta, look no further than Al Dente Pasta. The food is absolutely outstanding, fresh, perfectly cooked pasta with sauces that taste just like Italy. Portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and you can tell everything is made with love and quality ingredients. The service is quick and super friendly, making it perfect for both a fast lunch break or a relaxed meal. The vibe is modern but warm, with that little touch of Italian hospitality that makes you feel at home.
Was excited to try authentic Italian pasta, but was a bit let down by their aglio olio. I was expecting garlic slices and there was none. Still tasted pretty good though, I'll probably go back and try their other pastas
