What a hidden gem! Myself and two friends (who live locally) had the pleasure of doing a leisurely Saturday lunch here recently and it was definitely worth the drive to Weston to do so. The food and service at Andre’s Osteria is amongst the best in Canberra in my books, and with very reasonable prices. The menu did not disappoint and I certainly had enough to ensure I didn’t need dinner - outstanding squid ink with crab risotto, seafood linguine, the best chocolate mousse I’ve ever had and two glasses of wine. All of it top notch (I should have taken more pics!). The service was also accommodating, warm, efficient and knowledgeable - a cut above many other establishments in the region. I’ll certainly be back and will happily bring others with me!

A formidable institution with high-calibre meals - the GF home-made casarecce ragu was insane, as was the pistachio crème brûlée. The highlight was sitting down for a moment with Andre himself, whose patronage can only be described as thoughtful and hospitable. Bringing friends, family, and everyone to this spot.

How come not many ppl talk abt this place?? Location wise it is indeed a bit far from the city, but food wise?? So good. Everything is cooked to perfection. U can taste the pasta was freshly made. The salad are so fresh too. Creme brûlée pistachio was awesome. Duck pate was good. Everything was good.

Absolutely amazing experience at Andre's. They provided us with an impeccable service and delicious food even though it was all packed. Food came quite quickly and the sangiovese was one of my favourites. I did find the food to be quite peppery than other Italian places I have been to, but it wasn't something I minded necessarily.

Absolutely loved our experience here! The staff and the owner Andre were incredibly friendly and genuinely attentive to every customer’s needs, which made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, flavourful, fresh, and very satisfying. Generous portions too! Definitely a place worth visiting. We’ll be back for sure!
