Beautiful handmade Italian food. As a gluten intolerant person I can hands down say that it was the best Gluten free pizza and pasta I've had. The GF focaccia is also delicious. Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. Gold coast has quickly become the elite place to dine for gluten free fair.

One of the best restaurants on the east coast of Australia. Service was excellent. Cocktails were amazing. Food was excellent, the pizza was delicious the gnocchi was to die for and the fish of the day was 10/10. Ava was the most amazing beautiful and delicious waitress you could have asked for. She was fantastic with her choice of food, cocktails and wine 🍷

Our experience was next level. The vibe created a transportation to a village in Italy. The food was exceptional. I appreciated the availability of gluten free and soy free food so I could enjoy the meal. It was tantalising with an effect on the palate that carried you through hours later. Everything ordered was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The seafood marinara and honey carrots were incredible. We have told everyone about Balboa and can not wait to dine there again. Keep up the amazing work and hold onto the awesome staff you have. The Chefs were incredible and lovely to speak to and Sophia was informative, knowledgeable and very efficient in her work. The entire experience was one we will be speaking of until our next visit. Thank you to all.

We could not commend this venue & its team more highly. Having eaten all over Australia & around the world Balboa would slot into the top 5. Interesting history of the location and venue. Well put together with interesting highlights - vespa scooter, wood fired oven, temperature controlled wine, sit up bar. We came with several dietary restrictions & I'd been particularly unwell for several days before our dinner - the wait & kitchen staff did an incredible job at catering to our needs for which we are very grateful. Carefully considered and thought out menu, of local and Italian ingredients. Don't come here to eat in a rush, it will disappoint. This restaurant and menu are all about the experience. The bar tenders are true craftsmen and we enjoyed being seated at a table where we could watch their mixology. The meals were beautifully cooked and presented and the staff were helpful and attentive. Dining for one to large groups, indoor, outdoor & private (wheelchair access). Onsite restrooms. Parking on local streets.
