Outstanding from start to finish. We walked in without a booking and they could not have been more accomodating. Genuine, attentive service and the food was incredible. We both absolutely loved the Olive Oil cake - not something we’ve ever tried before either. Will happily come back again and thank you to all who looked after us, well done!

We had dinner at Bar Conte with two friends and, even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were welcomed straight away, which already set a great tone for the evening. Davide was outstanding, extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about guiding us through the menu. We ended up choosing only his recommendations, and he looked after us throughout the entire dinner with great attention and care. We started with focaccia and salami, both very good, followed by a wagyu tartare which, for me, is easily one of the best in Sydney. The mixed fried seafood was perfectly crispy and fresh, never greasy. For mains, the lamb pappardelle is an absolute must. Truly delicious, with meat so tender it melts in your mouth. My friends had the busiate prawn , which they enjoyed even more.
The cotoletta alla milanese was good, nothing particularly memorable, but the duck was on another level, outstanding. For dessert, we tried two options: one with basil, incredibly fresh and well balanced (don’t be scared by the basil, it works perfectly), and another with olive oil. Yes, olive oil and it was superb as well. 2 bottle of wine, the bill was Ok, The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere warm, and the staff are friendly and always attentive without being intrusive. The bill was fair and in line with the average pricing of Sydney restaurants, especially considering the quality of the food and service. 100% recommended

We had a brilliant meal at Bar Conte! The quality of the food is fantastic value for money. The dishes are generous in portion size, and the flavours are incredible. The scotch fillet steak was absolutely perfectly cooked too - it's a rarity to find such a well executed steak. Fantastic service from the whole team, who were attentive and welcoming. Our new friend Fabio made us some killer cocktails too. One of the best negroni's we've had. The wine list is extensive, the vola vole montepulciano we had was deliciously smooth! Don't hesitate to eat (and drink) here. We will certainly be back.

A beautiful city setting for some delicious Italian food. Everything we had was incredibly tasty and generous. Service was attentive and welcoming. Coming from an Italian background I’m hard to impress when it comes to Italian food - but this was a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely be back. A perfect date night or special lunch location. The tartare was absolutely amazing and not to be missed.
