This was our first-ever fine dining experience, and we were seated in the VIP booth, which already made the night feel special — but Brendon is what truly made it unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, Brendon went above and beyond in every possible way. His knowledge, attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made us feel completely at ease while still giving us that elevated fine-dining experience. He explained everything beautifully and treated the evening with genuine care and enthusiasm. We enjoyed the bread, the cheese, and the seven-course chef’s tasting menu, and every single course was absolutely wonderful. Brendon timed everything perfectly and made the entire experience feel seamless, relaxed, and special. For our very first fine dining experience, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Brendon was outstanding, and he played a huge role in making the night so memorable. We will be talking about this experience for a long time — and we will absolutely be back.

We dined at Bella Venezia on our last night of our Mooloolaba holiday. From the start, service from Tonino, our waiter, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive and he looked after us extremely well. Our water was always topped up and he was always happy to share his tips and suggestions regarding the menu and cocktail list. The drinks were lovely and the food was delicious - everything from the sourdough to the melon and prosciutto salad to the pastas. The desserts were also next level. While the bill was quite pricey by the end of the night, it was worth it for the presentation, service and food. We will definitely be back next time we are on the Sunshine Coast. The food was delicious — every dish came out in the perfect portion, leaving us full and satisfied by the end of the night. Truly a fine-dining experience everyone should try at least once. A very special mention goes to Nikki, our waitress for the evening. She was warm, friendly, and so lovely to chat with. Even though it was our first time at Bella Venezia, Nikki’s welcoming nature and genuine conversation made us feel as if we had been regulars for years. What stood out even more was her consistency — we noticed she treated every table with the same kindness and attentiveness, whether it was a fine-dining booking like ours or a family enjoying a casual meal. That level of equality, respect, and genuine customer care is rare and truly appreciated. Nikki is such a down-to-earth person, and the restaurant is incredibly lucky to have someone like her. Credit also goes to the owner for choosing staff who embody such professionalism and warmth.
