Family of 8, dined on a Saturday evening at 5pm. Service was brilliant, all the waiters/waitresses was very attentive and knew what they were doing. Food was also delicious. Everyone was very happy.

What a treat. Ate here on Saturday evening and had a great night. Our waitress, Stevie, is very knowledgeable about both the food and drink and nothing was too much trouble. Its great when a single place provides outstanding food for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I had the pumpkin gnocchi which were beautifully light and fluffy, followed by tiramisu. I highly recommend it

Had a fantastic time here! The food was delicious, atmosphere was cozy-chic, and we were treated like family while we dined. I love good Italian food, but I love an Italian dining experience more and that’s what we got from the friendly staff and proprietor. I had the spaghetti ai gamberi which was really good. I’d recommend that with the garlic bread to dip in the sauce. (Only negative was the sparkling water was quite pricey at 10.50 a bottle and we’re used to it being free but that might be normal in Tassy.)

We had the most delicious meal tonight at Capital Restaurant. I've eaten at Capital since it opened and tonight was as delicious as anything I have eaten there.

I’ve been to many Italian restaurants in Hobart, but even though this was my first time here, it truly amazed me. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was full of warmth and positive energy. The staff were very attentive, and to top it all off, they even offered complimentary wine after the meal as a blessing. A wonderful experience all around!
