Authentic dining experience run by Italian family. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and we couldn't have hoped for more, if you crave fine dining with outstanding service and ambiance you should give D. Vino a try. We enjoyed the degustation with wine pairing, delicious from start to finish. Such an enjoyable experience we would highly recommend.
Love love love this place. First time dining here and I will definitely be back. Service is good. Wine list is exceptional and exciting to work your way through. A lot of interesting options. The food was excellent! Highly recommend this place. Its a popular restaurant, so make sure you book.
An absolutely brilliant experience. From the greeting on arrivals to the Bouna Notte on departure everything was first-class. Staff were warm, inviting, open for a chat and a laugh and as for the food, ridiculously and I mean ridiculously good. D.Vino has now taken my top spot for Italian food in Brisbane.
My wife and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and we are so glad that we did. Easily one of the top 5 Italian restaurants in Brisbane especially considering food quality and price. We decided to order the cannoli, carbonara crostone, gamberi and ricotta, tuna tataki and the gnocchi. Each dish was light, with the right balance of flavours and with a good, decent portion size for the price. We particularly like the gnocchi- pillowy, with a simple san marzano sauce. We also really like the explanation from Danilo before each dish was served. The thing that impressed me the most was the wine list. Extremely comprehensive list with some absolute gems ( mostly from Italy). I highly recommend you give this place a try.
Revisited this fine dining Italian restaurant last night through the First Table Deal. Business seems busy by seeing half of the table were reserved. After perused the menu, we ordered entrees of prawn tart and octopus, and the mains of pork strip loin and red emperor with a side dish of string bean. First came the Amuse Bosch, which looked great and tasted well. Then entrees came the next. Sauce of the octopus dish was slightly salty but texture of the octopus was good and the house made crouton were crunchy and well matched with the sauce. The prawn tart was not bad at all with pan-fried cut-in-half king prawns and nice soft pastry. Mains were slightly let down. Pork loin was too meaty and it would be nice if the chef could choose the Wagyu beef instead. Red emperor was cooked perfectly well but the artichoke did not match the dish. Side dish was done perfectly good. Overall, we could see the chef cooked all the dishes by heart and tried to deliver the theme of fine dining. Having said that, there were rooms about the components of each dish in order to upgrade the dishes to the next level.
