I had high hopes for this family-owned spot, but unfortunately, it didnโt live up to the price tag. The menu was very limited, with several items unavailable when we visited. โThe Fungi and Gamberi woodfired pizzas were good, but definitely pricey for what they were. The biggest disappointment was the Prawn Fettuccine; for $38, the portion was small and the flavor was so basic we had to ask for Parmesan just to give it some life. To top it off, the bread and butter were poorly presented and not what you'd expect from a quality Italian restaurant. Overall, it felt overpriced for the experience provided.
Thank you for a beautiful lunch today. Food was exceptional. Great and friendly service, we will be back soon !
We secured a late reservation online and requested outdoor seating to accommodate our dogs. The venue was bustling when we arrived, so we expected a short wait. The only downside was that the outdoor area lacked a warm and inviting atmosphereโbut thatโs an easy fix. The space itself is generous and would work really well for larger gatherings. Our waitress was lovely, and the owner personally came out at the end to check in with us and kindly apologised for the delay (which was only about 20 minutesโnot a big deal at all). We shared two pizzas and enjoyed a glass of wine each. Everything was delicious, well presented, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
I had a lovely lunch here today. The place has a nice, cozy vibe. The heater made it extra comfy with the cold weather outside. I had the mushroom truffle arancini to start, ricotta agnolotti for the main, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and really enjoyable. What made it even more special was that the chef, Joanna, is a friend of mine. Such a treat to have her cooking for me! I also got to meet the owners, who were super friendly and welcoming. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and lovely people. Definitely recommend dropping by!
THE BEST PIZZA I have had in Wollongong! I tried the new place Dom on Burelli - felt like I was transported to Italy and their home made chilli oil is exactly how I remember it as in Rome! The beautiful tomato sauce on the Margherita - chefs kiss!! Highly recommend this place if you fancy an Italian lunch or dinner!! I used to love kneading Ruby but this this is my new fave!!
