Highly recommend! Food is so tasty. I didn't even realise it was all plant based. They are exceptionally accommodating for gluten free people and are very understanding about allergies. One of my friends has a lot of allergies and they were kind enough to go through the menu with us to tell us what we could eat. Wonderful vibe with great music. I will definitely return.
Really nice spot with a great vibe. The place itself is super comfortable and inviting and the service was excellent, friendly, attentive and just really easygoing. The portions are big and super filling, definitely good value I came here for lunch and it was great but they also have a solid drinks menu, so I feel like this place would be even better in the evening. Perfect for a chill catch-up or just a relaxed night out. Overall, such a good spot and I would definitely come back and recommend it. Thank you!
Don Fred was amazing, weโre not vegan and this is now one of the top Italian places in Sydney for us. The owner was super friendly and checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying everything. Also, answered my many questions about how theyโre able to create all these fantastic flavours with just vegan ingredients and how they experimented for a long time to come up with something that works so well. We had the 7 course sharing menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We left very full and happy, would definitely come back again!
Far out It has taken me a while to get to eat at Don Fred but it was worth the wait. what an unreal dining experience! The staff are awesome and the chefs are making super tasty dishes, absolutely delicious and fresh vegan Italian. We had the 7 course banquet and a chocolate mouse it was incredible. Thanks guys see you soon.
This is the best vegan Italian restaurant in Sydney for me. Kind and friendly staff. A very nice, casual and clean store. We ordered three dishes for two people (carbonara, zucchini fritti, and chocolate mousse), and all were absolutely delicious. I'll have to go back again to try other dishes!
