I worked in an Italian restaurant when I was young, as a cook, then pizza pasta chef. Needless to say after being taught by some pretty amazing old school Italian masters I became pretty picky when eating Italian food at restaurants. I asked my wife to grab my son and I a pizza and pasta as they were in their way past on the phone, and we hadnโt tried this place yet, and let me tell you, WOW, WOW, WOW. I just love the way they packed everything with flavour. Absolutely brilliant. Different to a lot of others but in a good way. No skimping on produce, and great choices on topping combinations. Amatriciana and the Pizza with sausage was out of this world. Canโt wait to eat in soon, as I only had it heated up as takeaway. Thank you, and see you soon ๐
Came here for dinner with my family, and wow definitely will be back! Food was absolutely delish! Very generous with food portions. Apart from the amazing food the service was excellent! Always checking up and just lovely! + super cute wee place
What a surprise find... Good friend recommended we go. The service and food was excellent - some of the best Italian we have had on the Gold Coast. Very generous serves too. Ambiance inside was again a real surprise. lastly BYO wine to top things off, this will be added to our cherished regular restaurants.
Wonderful dinner experience! Our group of eight friends shared a wide range of entrees and mains, and every single dish was a standout. Everything tasted incredibly fresh with vibrant, authentic Italian flavours โ the seafood especially was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. We all thoroughly loved our meal and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
First and foremost, I want to give them 4.5/5 for food, but alas, it's not possible, and their main fare is 5/5, so I'll compensate. I've also dined here and had a takeaway twice. I will break down my findings as follows: Service - on a busy night, they're a little slow to start with and forgetful (forgot our drinks). However, they're friendly and accommodating and fast turnaround from order to serving of food, considering how busy they can be. So all in all, great job all round. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere - The actual restaurant is aesthetically pleasing with dim lighting and setting. The terrace area is basic, but there is not much you can do there as it's part of the shopping centre. It's a very pleasant dining experience. There is nothing outstanding in terms of overall decor, but still above expectations for location. Chairs are a little wobbly. Food - Authentic, yes, I believe so. I tried their croquettes for a starter, nothing spectacular. However, the dipping sauce that comes with it is to die for, and I licked every single ounce of it. They make phenomenal pastas here, very tasty and even though incredibly adequate in portion size, leaves you wanting more on taste alone. Pizzas are delicious, and depending on what you get, generously topped. On the smaller side, but again, I'm just a fatty who loves to eat. I also tried their Tiramisu, and, yep, it's one of the better versions I've had on the Coast and a great portion size. In conclusion, I definitely rate this place very highly and look forward to eating here again
