Gemma’s is our go to for delicious italian and for the cozy atmosphere. The tiramisu is hands down my favourite I have tried in melb. For any mushroom lovers, I would highly recommend the ravioli ai fungi. The team are very welcoming and friendly - Gemma’s is where I come back to time and again.

WOW! We had the pappardelle bolognese pasta and Gnocchi pear (forgot the whole name). The gnocchi was cooked to perfection!! We also had a tiramisu to share, this was the best homemade tiramisu ever!! They also gave us a complementary bread as an entree and some very tasty donuts with our tiramisu! This was a great touch, and went that little further to make our experience 5 star! Italian food is one of our favourite meals, and a go to no matter where we go. If you’re looking for traditional Italian pasta and gnocchi, this is a must try restaurant!! There was no wait time’s and the staff were super attentive! Our meals came out within 15 minutes of ordering. I would definitely recommend Gemma’s anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal! 💌

GREAT PIZZA AND PASTA!!! We had a larger party so we did the group meal so we got a few antipastis, pizza, pastas, and tiramisu. I would highly recommend the mushroom ravioli as that was my favorite out of everything. The price was pretty fare for what we got and on a weekend everything came out pretty fast. The staff was really nice and they were very accommodating for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This restaurant is super cosy with a great atmosphere and lovely service ☺️ We had the Queen Margherita with hand-torn buffalo mozzarella, Gnocchi Sorrentina, and tiramisu. The pizza was nice with a thin crust and yummy San Marzano sauce. The gnocchi had milder flavour and slightly mushier texture than I expected, but it was still comforting and paired nicely with the pizza. The tiramisu was definitely the highlight – so soft, rich with cocoa, and very sweet. It’s less coffee- or alcohol-forward and more creamy and chocolatey (which I personally prefer 🤭).

An absolutely delicious meal and excellent service! We started with the chef recommended pairing of the bufala caprese and garlic focaccia and were sold the second it came to the table. You can tell the gnocchi is made with love and is so light and fluffy, the duck special was delicious, and the Nutella calzone was decadent! The food came out quickly and all the servings were generous. And is any trip to an Italian restaurant complete without tiramisu? 😋 The menu also has a super cute set of questions in the back to inspire fun dinner conversation 💕 We will definitely be coming back!
