It’s my third visit to this French bistro and I could see that their food quality and service are both degrading. Extremely long waiting time between courses (30 minutes - 1 hour), it wasn’t even a very busy nights. Patrons who came later than us got their food earlier than us and the lady owner/manager tried to ignore our eye contacts. The $70 T-bone was unseasoned and very chewy, which was appalling. The foie grad parfait which used to be my favourite but this time I found it lack of love. We had diner at La Bastide and the whole experience was amazing! From the beautiful outdoor area with french music, the table service and of course the food. We ordered the parfait and home made salmon to start with. Duck and chicken with foie gras as a main. And a yummy ice cream sandwich with passion fruit coulis to finish the meal well. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this beautiful french restaurant.

Food was good but to us the most delightful was the great service received ! The Orangina, a French “orange Fanta” my kids really liked !

La Bastide is truly another hidden gem. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful—romantic and cosy whether you’re dining indoors or outside. The food is nothing short of superb. Every dish tastes as though it’s made with love, using fresh, authentic ingredients. We savoured every bite and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable French dining experience.

Came here with a group of work friends. We had a wonderful time. The food was incredible. The duck was so tender, the steak frites was amazing, and the crème brûlée was the perfect end to a wonderful dining experience. The evening felt like such a treat (a special thank you to the chef Tim!). The service was attentive and we were very much looked after.
