We really enjoyed our dining experience at La Favola in Newtown. We ordered the carbonara, ragù Napoletano paccheri, mozzarella, and tiramisu—everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. It’s hard to pick a favourite because we genuinely loved everything we ate. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

A tiny Italian ristorante run by an Italian chef (supposedly from Amalfi? 🫣🏖🌊) The food was good but I found the space pretty packed cause it's so tiny. It was a little difficult to talk. I'm willing to go dine again but I'd see outside next time for more fresh air and space. Grazie per la pasta, chef 👨‍🍳

We visited La Favola with another couple and ordered four entrées and four mains, and honestly, every dish landed. The pasta came out fresh and perfectly cooked, the homemade pesto had that bright, herby punch you only get when it’s actually made in-house, and the tuna special was beautifully fresh. The carpaccio with truffle oil was another standout, simple but so well done. Solid service, generous flavours, and food that tastes like someone actually cares in the kitchen. True Italian food, done properly. We’ll be back.

Walk-in Friday night 10 minute wait and we were in. The staff were quick to assist and had our orders in no time! The focaccia was phenomenal as it was extremely fresh, and the tartare was exceptional (the fish was a little too cold though). Pasta was amazing as always and the steak was cooked to perfection tonight. Both Francesco and Asia were sweet and attentive, tables were cleared in an instant and fresh utensils each time. Hope they can keep this up!!

We had a great anniversary dinner here at La Favola today ☺️ we were blown away from our first bite — the focaccia — if nothing else, we’d definitely be back just for that! The zucchini flowers were very unique, and the potato filling inside complemented it well. Then the pastas — we really enjoyed the ragu, it had a really rich taste and the meat was very tender. The carbonara was my personal highlight though — we got it with fettuccine, and the texture of the fresh pasta was epic paired with the rest of the pasta. The special lemon tart was a divine end to our wonderful night. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!
