Our night at La Sardina will go down as one of our most memorable! From the cocktails, to the incredible food and the best service! Josh looked after our little family and we promise to be back in Hobart just to see him! Thank you, thank you, thank you ๐
The unexpected finds are always the best. Rate it, a must experience, 11/10 for service, atmosphere, quality and taste, food and drinks combined, canโt forget the tunes in the background, total ambience culinary and feels
Atmosphere and service are excellent. The food was okay, I didnโt find it a stand out or anything amazing, but enjoyable. We did wait a while for our food but the service was clear and apologetic. A nice option.
The ambience at La Sardina really surprised us in the best way. The staff, from the owner to the waiters were honestly some of the friendliest weโve met. Josh took such good care of us and made the night feel special. Service alone is easily a 5/5. We went with the Feed Me set menu, and the surprise mocktails were such a fun touch. They made them based on what we liked, and they turned out amazing. The food was okay, but we felt it could use a bit more flavour or a little twist to really elevate the dishes, especially given the price point. Nothing was bad at all, just not as exciting as we hoped. Still, with the wonderful staff and great vibe, it ended up being a good experience overall
We got 7 dishes and regret nothing. La Sardina Loca has such a good vibe, itโs cosy and we loved that the restaurant kept some of the historical aspects of the complex. The food was excellent! And there was nothing we would have left out if we would order again. We got 2 specials that they had during that week which were the scallops and beef ribs. The scallops had a deep sweet and smokey flavour and the beef ribs were tender and fell off the bone. The potatoes were also a must get, while they look heavy they made an excellent side dish that paired well with the mains. The restaurant also does really good cocktails and has an excellent selection of wines. Weโre glad we booked and got in early because the place was packed with both locals and visitors which really attests to how good this place was.
