My wife and I finally made the trek up Red Hill. Lunetta is a masterclass in ambient dining—the views are incredible, and the atmosphere remains intimate enough that you can actually hear your conversation. The service was also not rushed so you felt like you could enjoy the experience. The service is what truly sets this place apart. Richard the Sommelier was brilliant with his pairings, and the Maître D' made the night memorable with wonderful stories of his hometown in Palermo. The food is balanced and creative: Carbonara Tartlet: Incredible depth of flavour. Octopus Skewer: Exceptional pairing with mortadella. Pumpkin Ravioli: Rich brown butter perfection. Cucumber, Melon, & Fig Salad: A brilliant, refreshing palate cleanser. Fish of the Day: Perfectly cooked and balanced. My only critique is the portion is small. Tomato Salad: Brilliant side dish to pair with main. Dessert: The chocolate, hazelnut, and coffee finish was punchy and fun. Loved the clever use of pickled elements throughout the menu and the cocktails. Truly exceptional service and a must-visit for a special occasion. Dine throughout sunset.

We had an excellent lunch at Lunetta. We’d previously been to the Trattoria a couple of times, but this was the first time “upstairs”. It was fabulous, and we highly recommend. We chose from the à la carte menu, as the fixed price, sharing menu offer — too many carbs for me! The service was friendly and attentive, the food very well prepared, and the room is a lovely space. We’ll look forward to returning.

Lunetta was a great experience for my partner’s birthday. The view is absolutely stunning. Our servers were fantastic—Maximilian and another fella with sandy hair. Made our experience very memorable. The menu was great—perfect for the hot weather. The tartare dishes were particular favourites of ours. Fish was cooked perfectly. The lemon tart was exceptional.

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was our first time visiting. The location is absolutely spectacular, and the food was excellent. Service was good overall. One thing to be aware of: bottled water costs $13, and tap water isn’t offered unless you specifically ask, so don’t forget to do so. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant. We sat on the counter as we made a late change to our booking and tables were at a premium. Being on the counter wasn't a bad thing, it was actually nice. The chefs chat to you as they work and we were able to chat amongst ourselves just fine. Food was really good and the waiter's were excellent. Fun had by all.
