Our hotel was right by this restaurant on a two day stop in Sydney. We ended up having two dinners and a breakfast at this restaurant. The dinner and breakfast menus were both so extensive that we always wanted to come again and try more. The food was amazing every time we went and it is almost a given that everyone will find something they like there. The breakfast was amazing which came as a surprise since we ate an amazing dinner there the night before. We highly recommend this restaurant. Both times we went for dinner we waited in the line for those who did not have reservations. The first night it went by really fast and the staff member was quick to clean up tables and get everyone in and out but the second time it went by much slower as it was not the same staff member. I would highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you want to avoid this line, but if you donβt have a reservation it is also not the end of the world.
Top 3 - grilled octopus π Delicious and well cooked. I passed by the restaurant 1 day before and saw the queue. I immediately made a reservation for the next one. Today I had a surprise! π₯ππ₯ Delicious food, impeccable service and quality food. Visited January 2026
Dark rich coffee, chewy wood-fired pizza, and good , friendly service Macchiato has a lot to love. πͺ΅π₯The first thing that hit you coming into this place is the heavenly aroma of the wood-fired oven. After seeing the queue coming back from the back one night and checking the reviews we figured that this would be the ideal place for brunch. βοΈ πThe flat whites we ordered were intensely flavored with a rich lingering aroma. Ordered next was a 13-inch prosciutto pizza and smashed avocado on sourdoughπ₯. Quite generously topped, the highlight of the pizza was the aromatic crust and the lightly flavoured rocket. The smashed avocado was conventional, but good. Even though weβd not finished the pizza, Iβd seen the tiramisus I greedily ordered one. What I hadnβt realised was how large they were even to share (slightly note on the flavour - nice, but obviously alcohol-free, therefore mainly creamy). ππββοΈWe felt that the service was a good mix of efficient and friendly. π΅ Price not-cheap, but reasonable - paid $A86 for pizza, avocado toast, 2x flat white, a double-expresso, tiramisu. βοΈOverall, a good experience, with generous portions. Would strongly recommend if youβre into intense coffee and wood-smoked flavors.βοΈ
A cozy and warm place for good pizza. The queue was long at dinnertime, but it also moved along quickly and we could get a seat in under 30 minutes. Apart from the delicious food (both pizza and pasta), the service from Max was fantastic. He shared about how he's from Italy, and made lovely conversation with us while at our table. Would recommend this for a reasonably priced dinner in the city!
No discriminations here! Travellers or local ppl are all welcome!! Staff are well trained! This restaurant employs staff from different ethical backgrounds and all the staff work so effuciently and helpful with smiles even though they are so busy during dinner period!! A mature gentleman in glasses was so friendly and said hi with us with my monther tongue which created excellent atmosphere! Food ??? All pefect, hard to use words to describe! The pizzas are just one of the best in Sydney!!!
