An absolutely outstanding experience at Mamma’s Boy Trattoria. We started with a selection of excellent seafood appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared (my personal favourite: capesante gratinate!), followed by arancini and pallotte cacio e ova that truly tasted like home and authentic Abruzzese tradition. For the main courses, we had delicate and perfectly balanced fish-filled ravioli, with an original saffron and leek sauce, but the real highlight was the barramundi — without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection and treated with great respect for the quality of the fish. Dessert was just as impressive: an excellent tiramisu and a traditional Abruzzese pandolce that brought the meal to a warm and genuine close. The wine selection was also superb. We enjoyed several Italian wines, including a limited edition Trebbiano d’Abruzzo aged in tonneau, a Cerasuolo rosé, and to finish, a delicious homemade limoncello cream. Authentic cuisine, high-quality ingredients, great attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. You can truly feel the passion for Italian food here. We will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely loved our experience at Mamma's Boy Trattoria. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and genuinely Italian. relaxed, lively, and full of charm. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with great ingredients and care. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces rich but balanced, and the portions generous without being heavy. Service was just as impressive. friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without being intrusive. You really feel welcomed here, not just served. A fantastic spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Easily one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended ! we’ll definitely be back.

A cosy Italian with a few white-cloth tables outside for warmer evenings. Nothing fancy, but genuinely good and generous. The artichoke ravioli is my current favourite. Deserts are awesome, but it helps if you are two to share - or are really hungry. Pertinent selection of lovely Italian wines by the glass. Great friendly team. Mama must be so proud!

The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the pleasant music made the food taste even better. The arancini and meatballs served as starters were so delicious that I wanted to order more. The pasta was something I had never seen before, and it was surprisingly charming. The gnocchi sauce was rich and smooth, and I truly enjoyed every bite. The tiramisu for dessert was soft, sweet, and really lovely. Both the staff and the chef were friendly and greeted us warmly. I would recommend this place to couples, families, and friends.

Mamas Boy has such a wonderful atmosphere, and every staff member made us feel truly welcome! The food was excellent across the board. The braised beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the Linguine Marinara, full of rich seafood flavor, quickly became my favorite. I also loved the Polpette della Mamma meatballs – so comforting and tasty. For dessert, the tiramisu was absolutely outstanding. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco, which paired perfectly with every dish. Honestly, Mamas Boy is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Melbourne. A must-visit if you’re ever in Brunswick!
