Maria’s Trattoria is an amazing family-run restaurant with excellent food and warm staff. We even had our wedding reception here and everyone had a lovely time! Absolutely stop by for a visit if you’re in the area 😀

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Maria’s Trattoria in Melbourne. For dinner I ordered the lasagna, and to my surprise it came with peas a lovely and unexpected touch that added both colour and texture to the classic dish. The lasagna was beautifully made: the pasta sheets were perfect, the sauce rich and flavourful, and the subtle inclusion of peas gave it extra personality. The service was warm and welcoming the staff made me feel right at home, which added to the charm of the evening. The atmosphere felt authentic and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal that still feels special. Portion size and value were excellent, the generous serve meant I left fully satisfied without feeling overstuffed.

What a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Italian. I went there as a part of group of 26 people. Maria & her team were amazing & welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Despite a large group to serve, the quality & taste of the food didn't struggle. We all thought they did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend anyone looking forward to eat some italiano try this. It will not disappoint you.

Came here with my husband and I would highly recommend this restaurant. The portions of the pasta are large and great flavour. We had the specials which had been the blue cheese gnocchi and husband had the lamb cutlets. He is normally hard to please but said it was one of the best restaurant meals he has had for a long time! The service was great and very friendly.

This place is one of my favourite hidden gems in Melbourne, the food is absolutely divine and the portion sizes are very generous! Not to mention the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, this place feels just like a warm hug. Highly recommend the Pesto pasta!
