Meal of a lifetime. What a taste, what a memory. Thank you so much for this experience! Ive been to many fancy restaurants but this is something else, congratulations to whoever finds this place!
The bistro is easy to find and parking is great, plenty of lots available and just out the front of the place. I went with my mom and a mate - we both parked easily. The vibes? Immaculate. Itโs so cute, and I love that the tables are nicely spaced - youโre not bumping elbows or overhearing every conversation. The dรฉcor and overall atmosphere make you feel like youโve been whisked somewhere else entirely, away from Brissy. Itโs hard to describe, and that alone is a reason to go - you just have to experience it for yourself. The menu hits exactly the right notes: a few thoughtful entrรฉes, mains, and sides, plus chefโs specials that keep things interesting. Itโs a blend of Italian and Indian dishes. This is a mix that actually works perfectly. You can tell every dish has been considered, and they focus on doing a few things really well. My mum and I had the fish and chips (that dayโs special), and my mate went for the meatballs (which I forgot to photograph, sadly!) We shared samosas to start, and everything was so, so good. Generous servings, beautifully cooked, and packed with flavour. We left absolutely full and happy. We didnโt make it to dessert. We were stuffed and it was already past closing time, but weโve all agreed weโre coming back. I canโt wait to work my way through the rest of the menu. We also had the pleasure of meeting Valerie, the chef and owner. She came out to check on us, and before we left, we had a lovely chat. Sheโs warm, funny, and genuinely passionate about her craft. You can taste that care in the food, and it just makes you love the place even more.
I think what sets this place apart is the warmth of the hosts and the owner. It is family run and feels like stepping into someone's own home kitchen. It is a large space but still cosy and the food is delicious . I had the family recipe chicken masala bursting with flavour and spice. They even gave me a taste of a brownie on the house! Will definitely be back
