We greatly enjoyed dinner here, everything was handled really nicely from the minute we arrived until we departed. We thanked the staff for putting together such a positive experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
two pizzas, one pasta, two salads for three peopleโgreat value for money. Definitely worth trying. Loved it!!
Visited Next Door Restaurant & Bar for dinner after work, and it was such a nice surprise. The dishes were beautifully plated and full of flavor, and the bar staff really know their drinks โ the cocktails were creative and perfectly mixed. The lighting and music gave it a warm, relaxed city feel without being too loud. Itโs one of those hidden gems around Wynyard where you can unwind, have a quality meal, and enjoy good conversation. Will definitely be back soon.
Lamb ragu was great, some might consider it a tiny bit on the bland side but that suits my taste perfectly, as I donโt like mine overly rich. Had good atmospheric dim lighting and was able to be seated and served immediately, with a very reasonable ten minute wait for my meal.
Food 4/5 Carbonara is creamy, flavorful and there was just enough for the past portion. Pasta is a tad soft for me. Bacon was plain tasting to me. Thin crust Pizza has a tasty tomato base and just the right amount of ingredients. Lady who brought our food from the kitchen is on all smiles despite the terrible rain that afternoon. The other lady in the restaurant was totally unhelpful, we were the only customers and it took effort to get her attention. Very unfriendly person. I must say prices are reasonable by Sydney downtown standards. But I probably will not revisit.
