Absolutely delicious Italian food ! My friend recommended this amazing hidden gem and we were so impressed with the friendly staff, we like to share our food so we sampled the Gorgonzola gnocchi the burrata board truffle and Parmesan cheese fries and the rocket pear salad. For desert the little Italian donuts with Nutella. Highly recommend.
Went here one Sunday night for a birthday dinner. Food was delicious, service was lovely and atmosphere was pleasant. Our table ordered a variety of pastas (spaghetti, papardelle and gnocchi), pizzas and starters including the delicious buratta board. We didn't get a chance to try the desserts but my friend had been here before and absolutely loved the strawberry tiramisu. I love how peaceful it was since this lovely restaurant is tucked away in a quiet suburb. We'll be back again soon :) some photos included as most dishes were eaten before I got a chance.
Osteria epoca is a cosy Italian gem tucked away in Yeronga that instantly feels like a local favourite. Our picks: ๐ง burrata board ๐ spaghetti marinara ๐ boscaiola pizza bianca ๐ฅฌ charred baby cos ๐ซถ๐ป tiramisu (strawberry & original) Everything here is generous, full of flavour and made to be enjoyed slowly with good company. The burrata board comes with coccoli fried pizza bread and honestly itโs the PERFECT pairing! Plus, their pizzas are made fresh to order! Straight from the oven with that perfectly chewy base and crispy edges we love. And do not miss the tiramisu โ itโs SO good and served right in front of you, making it the perfect sweet ending to the meal!
The venue was great and the service was too, especially since it was so busy. The food...was a mixed bag for me. The pizzas were great, we got the prosciutto and the four cheese. They were delicious, love the pizza crust a lot!! The crumbled olives were also amazing, the olives were not just salty but also had sweetness to it. The bruschetta was also beautiful. However the rigatoni with crab fell flat for me. The crab taste was overpowering whilst the sauce lacked depth. Depth was also lacking in the strawberry tiramisu for desert. It wasn't bad, it was just ok.
What a fantastic find! Saw Epoca advertised on Instagram and it lived up to the hype. The staff were friendly, the food was AMAZING ๐คฉ. We shared the Burrata and Wagyu beef carpaccio to start. Both absolutely melted in the mouth. The homemade pizza dough dipped into the burrata and sauce was delicious. I had the blue swimmer crab pasta , my friend had the gnocchi and a salad. We didnโt have room from the strawberry tiramisu so she offered that takeaway, which I ate a few hours later and it was yummy ๐ We had 2 cocktails each . All up $214 and it was worth every penny. The portion sizes were generous. 5 stars
