My partner and I were looking for a cosy restaurant where we could enjoy a relaxed dinner with a glass of wine and a good chat. We discovered Pan Di Vino during a casual walk and were immediately impressed by the warm, inviting atmosphere. We started with the Charred Tassie Octopus and the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, followed by the Veal Cutlet Cotoletta and Mafaldine β€” wow, 10 out of 10! Everything was incredibly flavourful and reminded me of those beautiful European summer dinner nights. And you absolutely must try the Amaro Tiramisu β€” it’s to die for. Thank you to Mary and the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic night and will definitely be back with family and friends. Highly recommended!

The food is so colourful and rich in flavour. We enjoyed every dish. The pistachio affogato was the most perfect way to end the lunch!

What a lovely little new-ish addition to the Surry Hills dining street scene. Since they have been opened, their menu has changed a few times. I'm sad I never got to try their duck lasagna! Small offerings on the menu that's not overwhelming, and everything was π™™π™šπ™‘π™žπ™―π™žπ™€π™¨π™€! I would recommend ordering dishes to share, especially if it's your first time at Pan Divino. My table had five people and we ordered a lot of dishes to share. Main and sides took longer than expected and portions could be a bit bigger. (We didn't try their stuffed porchetta, which was on display at the pass under heat lamps.) We also saved room for dessert: I went with traditional tiramisu and the rest of the table went with the special: blue berries mascapone tart. Glad I went with tiramisu, my table agreed. Out of the dishes, my personal favourites: gnocchi ragu, bruschetta with anchovies, grilled zucchini and tiramisu. The total for five people was almost $500, so be prepared. Service however, was amazing. Our attendant was Fabi, from Brazil and one of us got to chatting with her as he was also Brazilian. Fabi was able to give us all the specials of the evening (with photos) and we ordered the specials. The Pan Divino team checked in often enough but not a lot to be annoying. Overall experience, I recommend Pan Divino, but go with an open wallet or with a few people to share the dishes.

A nice Italian trattoria tucked in the streets of surry hills. You enter into a bar and once you’ve walked pass you are welcomed into a cozy little backyard which brings me back to Italy. We ordered a grilled octopus which had some good char on it but was slightly overcooked. Paired nicely with a tangy creamy sauce. For pasta I had the Cacio e pepe with fettucine. The pasta was al dente which was coated in a cheese and black pepper sauce. The black pepper definitely permeated but I felt like it could use more pepper and toast it a little more. The sauce could also be thinner. My friend ordered ther gnocchi with short rib ragu. The gnocchi was soft and tender, almost too tender to the point where I started questioning whether it’s been cooked thoroughly. The sauce was rich but was way too salty. Forfinish we ordered a tiramisu, which was creamy and had a good coffee aroma. It does feel like they used heavy cream because the texture was quite thick. Overall a nice experience and the environment definitely adds to it

Brilliant meal, very well executed. I would like to have tried more dishes. Saw the spaghetti alla vongele coming out as we were settling the bill and it smelt heavenly. Service was second to none. Nice little courtyard out back. Patio heaters for those cooler days/evenings. Cocktails and wine recommendations were spot on.. This is a perfect special occasion restaurant.
