Pappagallo offers an exceptional Italian dining experience from the moment you sit down. The homemade pappardelle with ragรน was a standout โ perfectly al dente pasta paired with a rich, slow-cooked sauce that tasted deeply authentic and comforting. Itโs the kind of dish that reflects real craftsmanship and respect for Italian tradition. The Margherita pizza was equally memorable. With a beautifully crisp yet light base, vibrant tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fragrant basil, it proved that simple ingredients, when done right, can be extraordinary. Balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. To finish, the tiramisu was outstanding โ light and creamy with just the right espresso kick, not too sweet, and layered perfectly. A classic dessert executed with elegance and restraint. Combined with warm, attentive service and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere, Pappagallo truly stands out as one of Perthโs best Italian restaurants. Highly recommended, and a place weโll happily return to.
Lovely food, great hospitality and a good bunch of ppl at the joint. Food was great, pizza was simple yet flavourful - lots of textures and flavours with that lovely char on the crust. The gnocchi was soft and well done; the risotto was just done right. The Tiramisu was soft, with a good hit of coffee and soft mascarpone cheese.
Normally packed during lunch time, we were lucky to miss that busy period. Street parking is plentiful around the area. Staff is excellent and attentive to our needs. One of the few places they actually have freshly cut cook chip; in this case more like wedges. My little one loved it. The gnocchi is good size and good price. Pizza is very good, nice and crispy.
Great service and the staff were very accomodating providing a range of gluten free options. This did not compromise the taste of the pizza or pasta we ordered! Our pizza was delicious, the gluten free base was not too doughy and there was the perfect amount of toppings. The seafood in our pasta was fresh and the mussels and calamari were nice and plump. We really enjoyed all the flavours of our dishes, would be happy to come back here. Thank you
Canโt comment on the atmosphere or service as we got delivery however we live nearby and it always looks busy โฆ and for a good reason, the food is absolutely incredible, we had the ham and cheese garlic bread, diavola pizza and the pappardelle ragu all 3 of these dishes were 10/10, flavours were incredible nice spice in the pizza, real meaty pasta and beautiful ham in the garlic bread. I do think with all takeaways it would be even better in the restaurant however no complaints was amazing and highly recommend
