Had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The owner is incredibly kind and spoke to us so warmly like his own, which made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding the lamb shank was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the duck ragu was rich and comforting, and the sticky date pudding was just spot on. To top it all off, the owner generously treated us to a complimentary panna cotta, which was also absolutely delicious. Itโs a small place with a big heart. Huge thanks to the owner and the chefs for making our lunch so special. Will definitely be coming back again
I recently visited this Italian restaurant with my mum, and we were both genuinely impressed. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. I ordered the spaghetti marinara, which was exceptionalโfresh seafood, a beautifully balanced sauce, and honestly better than some meals Iโve had in Italy. My mum requested a cocktail that wasnโt on the menu, and the staff happily made it for her, which really highlighted their flexibility and customer focus. We finished with the tiramisu, light and full of flavour, and the perfect end to the meal. Overall, excellent service, delicious food, and thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend
We visited Piccolo last weekend for my 50th birthday, we had about 28 people. Roshan went above and beyond for me. Between finalising our set menu, numbers changing, my indecisiveness, he was so patient! Everyone loved the food - but my faves were the scallops entree and the prawn linguini and the truffle papardelle mains! The only slight criticism is that itโs a bit loud insideโฆbut we were in jolly spirits so went with the flow just like the delish โspecialโ prosecco with fresh strawberries. Roashan also spent time ensuring the perfect group photo for us. Thankyou Roshan and team for making my 50th lunch one to remember ๐ฉท
Service is ok. Pasta wasnโt al dente and not handmade which is ok however al dente is basic. Flavour felt more instant, no depth. Ordered the most expensive dish on the menu which the owner recommended but it was a disappointment. Especially seafood donโt feel fresh and more like frozen marinara. Perhaps it was just a bad visit. Trip to Italy to learn isnโt necessarily just pay a visit to Rustichella, very authentic. (After receiving a hateful response from the owner, decided to include photos and lower rating. It is NOT A FAKE REVIEW)
I was craving for Italian food and my boyfriend and I searched for a place nearby and saw their restaurant. We arrived without a reservation but they were gracious enough to give us seats despite the place being fully-booked. The foodโs fabulous and delicious: weโll definitely come back! Everyoneโs warm and welcoming and it makes dining here so homely.
