The pizza was really yummy and the white wine too. I just had a slice of the San Daniele pizza and the Wine was Kris Pinot Grigio very nice and chilled. Excellent combinationโค๏ธ. The staff was very kind with me and the bring the food and wine very fast. Didnโt have to wait much. There is also music in the background that is nice for chill out while you are eating. Also they have some Italian products if you want to purchase some like pasta, sauces and other stuff.
The restaurant is located at the edge of the market and can also be visited outside of market opening hours. The Neapolitan pizzas are excellent โ the salsiccia pizza was generously topped and had a fantastic flavor. The Chinotto is a classic Italian soft drink and highly recommended as well. The service was very attentive, friendly, and fast. Overall, a great place that I would happily visit again. The interior is high quality and makes it very comfy.
The ingredients are fresh, the flavours are well balanced and the menu feels genuinely Italian. The pizza is light and easy to digest, with generous toppings that still allow each flavour to come through clearly. Overall, itโs a very solid choice and one of the best pizzerias Iโve tried in Melbourne.
I am not a big Pizza fan as it is hard to find an authentic italian pizzeria in Melbourne. Yes I am a pizza snob and most donโt go close to what Iโve had in Italy until now. The Margherita pizza is amazing, thin crisp base with the zing taste of tomato and the right amount of mozzarella. Bravissimo.
I tried the Margherita and the sausage. The base was nice and crispy, sauce was nice. I wasnt a huge fan of the sausage focaccia, the pumpkin was a strange combo in my opinion, I felt like it needed a kick of heat. But thats just my own personal taste. The pizzas and pasta look incredible though. Id definitely try a pizza or pasta next time!
