Excellent food with attentive service. This has changed my erroneous belief that Italian food is pasta and pizza. Highly recommend the beef fillet, tortellini, tiramisu and Kunรฉfe. Place can be noisy but this is what a restaurant is supposed to be. Noise, conversations, laughter.
Amazing experience at Prego! The Crispy Duck was perfectly cooked tender inside and beautifully crisp. The Apple Tart was warm, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The ambiance was cozy and elegant, making the whole dining experience even better. Outstanding food and lovely service canโt wait to return!
Lovely dinner experience in Prego with Chef Joe! Will recommend his restaurant for anyone who wants to have a good time regardless the occasion. Food was superb and service was excellent. Will definitely be back for more of his food and hospitality.
Iโm not even gonna get into the food that was served. Thereโs no point. Because in my opinion no matter what the quality of food is it cannot make up for poor service. Most of the staff were fine. They werenโt above and beyond amazing but they were fine, but this one woman; it really ruined our evening. I think she might even be one of the owners. My brother says that he wishes to have a pasta. She tells him that is baby food and he should pick something else. This occurred every time someone said they wanted the pasta. Which when you see the size of the pasta if that is for a child then Iโm concerned but also it is on the regular menu. If someone wants a pasta dish they should be able to get a pasta dish without feeling judged for it. Similarly, when my father ordered the beef he he prefers it a bit more done than what chefs love to cook as. So we are used to him getting some kind of raised eyebrows, but she looked at him and goes. Oh, so you want the duck instead then? Just the way that we were spoken to it wasnโt even as a joking manner. It just made us feel judged for everything we ordered. We did not feel welcome in this restaurant. Now aside from her the other issue was that the Aircon would come on and go off in a cycle and the vent was right above me. That wasnโt the issue. The issue was that the Aircon was giving off a disgusting sewage smell which is just really offputting when youโre trying to eat
Ok food was fantastic, absolute 5* Service was good but half the people bringing stuff to the table couldnโt speak English which made it hard to ask for drinks or any questions. They do set menu only on a Saturday night, which i donโt get. Initially itโs bread and dips, great. But itโs one slice per person, no extra even if you want to pay. Everything tasted great, cooked perfectly with great selections albeit set menu only. But on the downside, one dessert choice only. And tiny as. Would i go back? In a group maybe otherwise overall Iโd prefer to order iff a regular menu
