We had made a reservation on a Saturday night, from the front door we were greeted and shown straight to our table, we ordered everything from our starters to our finishing dishes in one go and the food was on time and everything was delicious, it goes without saying that the Bistecca is the star of the menu, but all other dishes from the octopus carpaccio to the Crudo and the pasta was amazing, all the service was brilliant and very attentive. The space itself had great atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic experience!

Had an amazing night at Santino in Wollongong! The food was unreal, the wine was dangerously good, and our waitress Caitlin deserves a medal. She talked us into having dessert — which, to be honest, might’ve been the best decision we’ve ever made. The dessert came out looking like art, and after one bite I wasn’t sure if I was eating chocolate mousse or having a spiritual awakening. Caitlin knew exactly what she was doing — absolute professional dessert enabler. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with that golden lighting that makes you feel like you’re in an Italian movie. Highly recommend — great food, great wine, and staff who clearly know how to make you say “yes” to one more glass and one more dessert.

From start to finish, it was an incredible experience. The food was outstanding, highly recommend the lamb rump and the charred octopus. The wine was fantastic, and the whole place had such a great vibe. The staff were unreal, and a special shoutout to Elliot, who was an absolute legend with amazing recommendations. Will be back for sure!

Amazing dining experience at Restaurant Santino. First time there and will definitely be back! The vibe of the restaurant and the staff are great, and the food was all hard to fault. Special mention to the mushroom parfait and the veal tortellini. YUM!

What a standout in Wollongong. Absolutely worth the drive from Sydney. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. After reflection on dinner last night the standouts were the zucchini and octopus starters as well as the dessert. Just wow! The spanner crab pasta and swordfish were both excellent but felt familiar as they are go to items we would order. The others were worthy of special mention as they weren’t comparable to dishes we’ve had previously. We will definitely return if we’re back in Wollongong and a big thank you Freya for your warm hospitality.
