Had an excellent meal at Tartufo last night. The food was delicious, everything we ordered hit the mark. What made the evening special was the service and atmosphere. The staff were genuinely lovely, and Tony, the owner, came over to chat with us. He’s one of those rare people who clearly loves what he does and enjoys meeting his customers. It wasn’t forced or rushed, just a really nice conversation that made the whole experience feel personal. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the food but for the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re in The Valley.

I have now dined at Tartufo Restaurant + Bar three times, and each visit has been absolutely exceptional. Every experience has been unforgettable — from the incredibly authentic and delicious Italian cuisine to the warm, homely atmosphere blended beautifully with the elegance of a high-end restaurant. The food is consistently outstanding, full of rich flavours and true Italian character. The ambience makes you feel both relaxed and special at the same time — a rare balance that Tartufo achieves perfectly. The service truly deserves the highest praise. The team remembers their guests, pays attention to every detail, and has a wonderful ability to create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. You feel genuinely cared for from the moment you arrive. Yesterday we stopped by unexpectedly for a casual dinner while out walking our dog. They have lovely outdoor tables, and the experience was just as perfect. Jefry at reception was incredibly warm and attentive, and even our dog was treated to a gourmet snack — such a beautiful and thoughtful touch! Tartufo is a true gem. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a heartwarming atmosphere every single time. Highly recommended!

So I didn't realise this place was quite so popular and stumbled across it while staying in the hotel next door. I went two days in a row, both times I just walked in off the street and asked if I could sit outside. The staff were onto it with service, were friendly and accommodating. Both meals I had here were awesome. The only reason I didn't go back for dinner tonight is because I felt bad I hadn't given other local places a chance to shine.

I choosing Tartufo as one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I'm saying 10/10. As an ex pizziolo I have high expectations of all pizza makers. Having a real wood fire oven makes every difference to the best flavour. And Bruno the pizziolo here delicately tops the pizzas so you get so much flavor in every bite.
