Excellent restaurant with really delicious Italian food. I'd recommend getting the zucchini flowers and the two pasta dishes were really great - sweet corn tortellini and rigatoni. For dessert you can't beat the tiramisu - it's also so huge ๐
Great night with exceptional service from Mina our waitress or service manager. Really good food and mostly all home made including the delicious bread . Zucchini flowers with cheese mint and honey wa simply devine. Pappadelle with lamb shoulder so yummy. Waygu steak perfectly cooked. No room for dessert such a shame. Next time.
Situated on Stanley Street, Sagra is a nice Italian restaurant. The menu changes regularly depending what is in season. We started with the buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes with was fresh and flavourful. Mains we had chargrilled prawns, papperdella with braised lamb and sweetcorn tortellini which is highly recommended with a burnt butter sauce. The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are on the high side for the size of the dishes as is the wine list. The restaurant isnโt large, so it is advisable to make a reservation.
Visited Sagra in Darlinghurst and really enjoyed the cosy, neighbourhood Italian vibe. The handmade pasta was rich and full of flavour, and the seasonal dishes stood out with really fresh ingredients. Service was warm and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy a slow dinner. Great spot in Darlinghurst when you want quality Italian food in a comfortable, intimate setting.
They will probably be uoset about the pictures as it's not how the pasta arrived, but, from the first bite, I didn't want to stop, it was delicious. Pictures were taken with a taste of the dish already being had. Great pasta, great dishes. Lovely attention to detail. Definitely going again. Saw the review on broadhseet as being one of the top Sydney Italian places, and they are absolutely right. We had the set mene ( changes every month)
