We had a great dinner at the Wooden Horse Bar and Pizza restaurant in Hobart. The food was incredible - my Hawaiian Parma was a taste sensation! The service was friendly, attentive and genuine. I liked the ambience of the restaurant too. Would definitely recommend as an authentic Tasmanian/Australian restaurant dining experience.

This pizza got my award for the most tasteless pizza I have ever eaten. The one piece of pepperoni on the pizza was insanit considering I ordered it as an extra. May be good choice for kids as kids like plain food. The service was prompt but made me question my life’s choices and my Italian ancestors were turning in their graves with every bite. It tasted like plain tomato paste was used as the sauce and challenged my will to live with its insult on my tongue. Saving grace was that i had some home made pesto in the fridge and doused it to be considered somewhat edible i hate wasting food. Am grateful that they gave it a red hot go. I also like the decor.

What a place. Beautiful furniture, lovely staff and such a great experience. I had one of the best parmigiana s I've had in a long time. I got the outback parmigiana, nice and crispy with delicious flavours and an incredible presentation which i wasn't expecting.

10! 10! 10! Food, service, atmosphere. The chips are the crispiest I’ve ever had! I liked the chefs take on the kilpatrick oysters, they weren’t overly saturated with sauce and bacon but still very delicious. The Parmy was excellent just wish it had ham on it! I’ve noticed most places in Hobart serve it without ham. My partner had the lamb shank and loved it! Can’t really fault this place. The Pina Colada was delicious and can come in a fishbowl option 😜 Very cosy atmosphere and great staff. Will be back.

Absolutely love this cute and cozy restaurant 🥰 It’s become my go to comfort spot in Hobart. The food is amazing with a great variety to choose from. My current favorites are the outbreak chicken Parmi and the Hawaiian Pizza, always roasted to crispy, flavorful perfection! Also love the decoration, someplace you would definitely love go to for escaping the cold winter. The staff are super friendly and lovely. Definitely recommending this place to everyone around me! 😆
